PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

Film Downloads

To trial the film downloads on your mobile all you need to have downloaded to your mobile in advance are a version of a free barcode reader app. such as Neoreader or Semacode reader. Opening the reader from your apps folder on your mobile will allow you to photograph one of the barcodes opposite and test the film for yourself!

We are not making the whole film available so we don't spoil participation at the exhibition and game venues.

Code Reader

Mscape experimental software was adapted by Jim Grimmett, John Collomose, Eamonn O'Neill of the Computing Department at Bath University to work automatically on preloaded smart phones. Martin Rieser developed a downloadable set of videos connected to this site, accessible using most forms of free barcode reader software such as the neoreader which has versions for the majority of mobiles.

Enactive Cinema

During the game play enactive or physiological data from mobile phones will driva a logic tree, determining how the different versions of scenes will be delivered to individuals in both the game and gallery installation. Software specification by Rasmus Vouri (UIAH)
