Mapping Creative Processes

Mapping Human Creativity

TumbleweedUnderstanding creativity is hard. One of the many purposes of modelling is to understand and further analyse a given phenomenon, e.g. creativity. This research will develop an initial graph-theoretic approach that provides a sound underpinning for analysing creativity. It is precise and generic in nature (i.e. not domain specific).

It allows the definition of the "creative process" instead of the ever elusive notion of creativity. It also gives the opportunity to integrate technologies from machine-learning and semantic web.
