Machinima Festival 2007
12 - 14 October, 2007, at De Montfort University, Leicester
Hi there,
We are delighted to able to bring you information about live streaming of the Festival - action as it happens - plus a post-event special feature for those of you that can't join us this weekend.
Live streaming is taking place from the following link: www.ioct.dmu.ac.uk/machinima.html
You will see some instructions on the page about how to view the action. The stream will only be live when there are sessions taking place, and the action is entirely focused upon the main presentations and panel discussions in the Campus Centre 2.01 (see the pdf programme for details).
For more interactive involvement, and if you are a registered in Second Life, we are delighted to confirm hosting by two of our media partners:

This means that everyone who cannot attend the real Festival in Leicester, now has the possibility to be a part of it virtually. Even questions from the virtual life might be answered by the real life and free t-shirts with the Festival Logo will be provided as a giveaway for all.
In a less interactive way, we will also be posting photographs on Flickr, with a link from our Facebook group ('machinima festival Europe 07'). Photos can be viewed at www.flickr.com/photos/machinimaeurope.
Next weekend, 20th August, our media partner, yur.tv, will also be hosting a special production of the Festival Awards Ceremony. information about that will be posted on our website and Facebook group next week!
