Wow Theme: analysis

BS: I was asking because you mentioned about the Wendy House and that's something that you build it as an adult you immediately think that a child would see that as a Wendy House. Or there any other examples where a child would approach an exhibition in ways that hasn't been anticipated?

JC: The mirror maze - whereas we look at it as something you find your way through the children seem to interpret as the more mirrors you bump into the better. I can't think of any specific any other specific examples. They use the water exhibits in different ways. They tend to use those as they want to as opposed to actually doing exhibits. So things with boats on, you'll quite often find all the boats in one area because they've been just playing boats. Anything that's got things they can post. So the air cannon might be used as an air cannon but it's also a really good hole for sticking the number balls in. And there are things that if they've gone missing you know you'll probably find them posted.

Um - those are probably the more general ones. I don't think there's anything else that is specifically misused or - used differently. The shadow box is also sort of - I have no idea whether anyone's - reads what actually happens because it's far more fun to throw yourself at the wall and try and get yourself in mid-air than it is to actually find out that it's a chemical that - makes your shadow stay.
