BS: Can you just tell me a little bit about what your job entails.
JC: ((laughs)) As a helper it involves any of the aspects of the floor. So working on the floor, sorting out the lunches, the front desks. I'm involved with the outreach for the discovery boxes and Star Lab. As assistant supervisor I just end up backing Bert up for whatever he needs or if he's not in, sorting out - what's happening and sort of troubleshooting I suppose, if anyone wants something sorted out. And the same on Sundays although then I've got a bit more control over the rotating as well. And exactly what I want the staff to do cause that's my day.
Um - involved in presentations to schools -from early years mainly through to key stage 2. Very occasionally key stage 3. And then sort of overseeing the training programme - staff appraisals - and sort of just general assessment, just trying to make sure that keeps going and it's still (happening). I think, think that's everything. ((laughs)) yeah it's a bit of a bizarre sort of selection.
