BS. Have you actually noticed any changing perceptions of children in the local schools about science?

CW It's, it's difficult to say really cause they, - I suppose, it's almost like they've not, not been here. You know, so they, they've been coming since they were 5 now and, it's very difficult to say because when they're 5 they don't really say very much and so you don't, or you don't have that much chance to interact with them, that much in what you're doing. And I suppose it's slow sort of process. I mean, they certainly. - Sometimes, that, it, I find in shows now that they're, they're so relaxed about it all that you know they'll - immediately, if they've got a question, you know, they'll, they'll be asking straight away and, and that sort of thing is, is good really. And they'll quiz you and if they're, if they think you've got something wrong they'll make sure they tell you straight away and, and that's, you know I think, that's, that's a healthy situation to be in, you know. Whereas a lot of children would, you know, sometimes you'll get from another school you might get a class who are leaving and, a child or might even say it to a teacher and a teacher will come to you and say that, you know, that maybe I got the schools a bit wrong or something. Well it's much better to know straight away, you know, but obviously this child has spotted it but didn't feel they could they could tell me, you know, and this sort of thing. So, I think it's health, it's healthy from that point of view.

I mean it would be interesting to sort of, find out, in terms of science results and things how they do in the long run, it would be, you know, that would be interesting to find out. I mean they certainly - are very good at answering the questions and things, but then often that's because they've been to the show they year before or something so it's hard to know you know whether, well are they doing really well and knowing their science or is it just that we have certain things that tend to come up a few times, and, they've memorised them you know. I don't think it's - that's good anyway, in a way if they can go away confident in the science and, even if it is, you know, maybe a bit restrict, you know, it's not going to cover all ēthe different areas, butē
