BS: I am just going to ask some very general questions about Techniquest. Firstly, how would you describe Techniquest?
ER: How many words am I allowed? ((laughs)) It's not describe in three words. I think Techniquest's a very fun place. It's - when people are walking in they see it as bright and approachable. I think when you when you dig deeper there's it's definitely educational, it's definitely entertaining you. There's a lot of opportunity for - interacting not just with the exhibits but - with the helpers on the floor. So - often you find the family who get so much more out of it if they start talking to you. I find that also in the - if you you're a presenter of a show - because if you if you're presenting to let's say 100 in the science theatre - at the end of the show they feel that they've got a real connection with you. So if you then walking around the floor - as a helper - you'll find that more people will come up to you and approach you and talk to you than if you were just on the floor that day. Because they feel that there's already a connection with you. So it's a place where you can make connections with people and with families and you can really improve their visit by doing that.
It's difficult to know when to do that, that's the thing when you're a helper. Because some families just want to do it by themselves. They don't want the interaction. I think that you get far more out of it when you do interact with people. Maybe that's - an individual or a group's decision. How else do I see - Techniquest. As a place of work, for me ((laughs)). Very informal. ((pause)) It's a difficult question to answer. Do you - I mean do you mean for me or for for the public.?
