BS: You were talking earlier about making visitors happy. Why is that so important in the context of what you do?

ER: Because if the visitors and they have a really bad day out and they don't enjoy it at all they will never come back. They won't just never come back but they'll tell all their friends that Techniquest was terrible, and none of their friends will come back. If the schools don't enjoy their visit the schools will stop coming. If we don't have any visitors coming in through the doors Techniquest can not run. Therefore, we close. And then there's no Techniquest. So - the most important thing for Techniquest is - that we stay open. I think. Until the visitors keep coming in through the doors.

When I say make them happy - I don't mean at all costs. But - do our best to ensure that they enjoy their visit. I think that's what I meant. If they enjoy their visit, then, they're in a better frame of mind to learn things. Even if they don't even realise they're learning it. ºWhich is the best wayº.
