We spend time in the playground getting some shots of the ways in which children use available space. Unsurprisingly the boys are running around and playing ball games, while the girls are in small groups chatting and eating their crisps. One girl, is sitting and reading (same girl that is bewildered in TQ: "don't know what to do - not sure what I'm meant to be doing").
We ask some of them about pushes and pulls and have some thoughtful replies (see Ellies comment about gravity keeping kids on the playground and saving them from floating away and boys/girls pushing and pulling each other). There are also some comments about school races, in particular, running and speed (one girl describes the wind rushing through her hair).
We also (see footage) get some shots of 'Gary the Clown' and a couple of girls read out there topic work on pushes and pulls displayed on the walls (Evelyn, Zoe and Brooke - I think).
