BS: Does the local school come to shows?

DB: Yes, every week, at least once. They do come a lot. And, oh the first talk I did for Dockside Community School - was quite a few years ago - and - I turned my back on them, when I turned back they'd all moved seats, they'd all climbed over seats and they were all over the science theatre. But now, they come in - and some of them'll recognise you cause you've done 4 talks for them in the past from- as they go through the school. And they remember you. And they tend to, I think, they seem to have, they seem to have got quite a good grasp of science cause whatever you talk about, they've obviously - quite often they think they must have prepared it before they come because they know the terminology and things. And Dockside Community School are very good when they come in, you know, and they're, they're quite a nice school. When you, when they used to come over you think "Ah" you know, you had to keep an eye on them all the time but now they come in, and they'll sit down and they'll answer the questions, they'll volunteer, really, really, really, you know, really sort of pleasant school to give a talk to now. I think, because they visit, they know the place, but they tend to come in, come to the show and go straight back. They don't tend to spend any time in the exhibition, they just come over for the show and go. Whereas most of the schools come in and will spend 2 hours here, and they'll do the show plus time in the exhibition. I think some of them have been here so regularly they tend to - you know, just come for the show and then go straight back again.
