BM: We often notice there's quite a tricky point in balancing the production side and what could Techniquest can do with the educational side and what you want to teach. How do you find that balances out normally?

HF: What do you mean?

BM: For example, if you were putting a show on and you wanted some exhibits and the production side said we can't build those exhibits, how do you balance that?

HF: Well - from our point of view, from a public programmes point of view, we write our shows well in advance. And, we will let the workshop know as soon as we start - this is what we're thinking. You'll have some rough idea of what is you're wanting and you can ask the workshop, say to Keith who's he's joined relatively recently, say "we'll be needing some exhibits being built around this time. How does that look?" And if he says "well no we've got to build 30 exhibits to go up to Wrexham" then you go "Right, ok so what can we have?" So it's it's a communication thing. It's making sure that you, give as much notice as possible to the workshop and they give you a fair and honest answer back about whether it's going to be realistic or not. So.
