BS: Can you name an exhibit which evokes an emotional response like for an example a sense of achievement or pleasure.

JC: The puzzles give a sense of achievement if you can get those done. Um - Gravitram - people find very watchable. A lot of people are more than happy just to sit on the wall and just watch it work. And that seems to sort- gives quite a sort of contentment. The ants make people - some people just are fascinated and some people you can see them kind of itching as they go near it. Um - and quite a lot of people go for things like the vortex. A lot of people go for things that you can watch that are - just sort of aesthetically pleasing I suppose because they're almost sculptural in the way they behave and the way they work. The kugel I really like, for that sort of feeling. And the fish people like. You know, people will just stand and watch them. Yeah they probably give the sort of sense of pleasure. Anyone who does, the rope puzzle seems to give people a real- the rope puzzle and the - balancing broomsticks, particularly if the puzzles seem to give people a real kick if they can do it. Especially children, if they can show their parents that they can work out balancing broomsticks they - they are really chuffed with themselves.

I can't think of any others that evoke such strong emotions. In case of - as far as wonder goes probably the Bernoulli Blower gives the most - especially with young children but anyone who goes round suddenly sees the ball flying - and I've seen students - I've seen babies do it but I've seen students do exactly the same thing and just like "wow that's really that's just really amazing" and play with it and work with it. That's probably the best one for wonder. In that sense.
