BS: Before you were working at TQ . . . what were you doing?
ER: Initially I came straight from school - not straight from- straight from education I should say because - I did my degree in Plymouth in marine biology. And then I was looking for things to do in the year. I always knew I wanted to be involved in education. Having 2 parents as teachers kind of put me off teaching for life. But I thought that to, to be involved in any kind of education that you had to have a PGCE. So initially I'd - looked around different universities as to where to do a PGCE course, knowing that it really wasn't for me um but I couldn't think of a better way of getting into education and then I heard of the MSc course so I thought "yep, that's it." Forgot about the PGCE and jumped 2 feet straight in. So that's what brought me here. So I - hadn't been to TQ. I, I was one of the first visitors aged 9 and I hadn't been back since. So - until I heard about the MSc and then I - started. So it was straight from uni. Back here.
