BS: Can you describe your current role.

DS: ((laughs)) that's actually quite difficult. I'm involved in the design and development of exhibits. I suppose that's - the simple answer. It can be quite a broad range of things that I'm involved in, you know. I do stuff like attending meetings and, and - kind of dealing with the admin of design projects but also, in terms of actually doing design work, coming up with ideas, sometimes, sometimes the ideas are given to you and you just have to develop them, work out how they're going to work technically, model them on a computer. I do quite a bit of that kind of stuff. In terms of getting the concept into a more - physical state. And it can even range to things like helping with developing the exhibit text and graphics and looking at the user interface, how that's going to work . Also spending time discussing it with the guys in the workshop, cause they have a lot of input into that process as well. So it is quite a broad range of stuff I actually end up doing, but

BS: So did you actually, was it a job that was advertised, you applied for?

DS: Not exactly no, it just kind of, - spiralled from - the work I did for them at university. And, they had a gap in that area and they still have a gap in that area in terms of we need more, of that kind of thing. We haven't got much capability - in terms of design and development. And it is something that they're looking into expanding I know.
