BD: Just teasing out a little more this germination obsession of mine. Would you say the idea you or other people have is driven by a vision of what people will be doing with the exhibit or is it more driven by a pedagogic aim "I want them to know X" or maybe something completely different from that?

HW You can't, you can't assess whether they will know X. You can't assess whether you will reach a pedagogic aim without knowing how they will use it. So the process is part of - getting to the end point. So I think the two come together. I mean, if I have a standard vision in mind it's, it's probably my own family at the age you know, when my son was 10 and my daughter was 8 or something like that, that's the sort of age group, that I'm looking at. And - my memory of that gets worse and worse as time goes on and looks rosier and rosier from a distance but you know. You have to think of a unit and a way in which people will interact with exhibits. And there's, you know, I think back to my own childhood as well and think how I would've enjoyed, you know, so there's an element of satisfying myself in this as well.
