Second show starts
introduces pushing and pulling sequence
TQ Baby monkey sequence.
Structured in the same way as the first show.
SB: Now I've got a special friend I've brought to show you today. He's the baby monkey. Would you like to see him - the baby monkey. Here he is. And baby monkey wants to go - on a skateboard. He's a bit young and his legs aren't really long enough - to make him go. So::: who thinks - they - can move - the baby monkey?
((child volunteers))
SB: You Ready? whee::: Well done. So we can push the baby monkey to make him move. Shall we give you ((gesturing towards child)) a clap for that? ((Children clap)).
Foam sequence (introduced as nice comfy sofa)
Pulls - putty sequence
Toy shop - sequence
starting teaching children to show pushes and pulls using hand moveements. Clown - Jack in the box - crocodile - party pooper - magnets - rocket -
3 little pigs sequence
((same structure))
Brick wall sequence
SB: So now we've got the house made of bricks. That's a nice wall isn't it, nice brick wall. And the big bad wolf said "I'll puff, and I'll huff, and I'll blow your house down."
((various attempts to blow the wall down followed by children's suggestions for knocking the wall down - football etc))
SB: I think we need something heavier than a football. How about if we get our skateboard out. Shall we try that? ((children: yes. SB removes sail.))
SB: Here comes the monkey, baby monkey, again on the skateboard. Do you think if I push the skateboard, do you think that will knock the wall down? ((children excited: yes))
((Hands-up for yes and no))
Ready? 1... 2... 3...
((children shout "go". Skateboard pushed, wall knocked over, children cheer.))
SB: We had to use quite a big push didn't we, to knock our wall down.
((Note that this is all relatively low key. Monkey was not on skateboard)).¤<3812173>
