BD: Let me ask you first about the show. Did you enjoy the show?
Co, Ol and Cor: Yes
Oliver: I liked the part [in it]
Co: [I thought] the monkey was (going to come out)
Ol: I liked the part where the three little pigs (bought) their bricks and the monkey went in and he bashed the wall down, (on/in) the skateboard. And the man put a little money hat on him. ((Oliver bashes his head as he says hat)).
BD: Hello
(James comes into the frame)
Ja: My names James.
BD: Hello James
Ja: Um [my fav]
Be: [Did you] like the show as well.
Ja: ((Nods)). My favourite part right. Was. You know that white. ((James draws a circle with his hands ). That big white thing. Um, I liked going in there right. [and]
BD: Why was that?
Ja: Um. Because I liked. I liked. The. Um. The wolf picture and the pigs picture. They were funny weren’t they? ((James nods his head and turns to other children))
((The children talk over each other. Jack enters the frame))

BD: Lets go back to the show. OK. Now, can you tell me. What is a push? Who can tell me?
((Oliver and Peter put their hands up))

BD: What is a pull?
((Peter puts his hand up))

BD: How may different kinds of pushes did you see?
Ol >Forces< ((Laughs))
BD: How many [Can tell me what kind] of different pushes did you see?
BS: [What are forces?]
Oliver: Forces are pulling ((Oliver pushes his hand forward)) and pushing ((Oliver pulls his hand back))
BD: What different pushes did you see?
Co: Um
BD: Can you think of any. Can you think of any Pushes that you saw?
Co: Yeah. ((Thinking)) [When Oliver] ((points to Oliver)) pushed him. [Pushed the monkey.]
Ol: [I know]. [No -]
Ol: - I pulled the monkey. I pulled the monkey with a rope.
BD: Ahh. That was a pull? Can you think of any others that you saw?
Con: I liked when they twisted thingy ((Twists with his hand). (And you say bing like that).
BD: Ah was that a push or a pull?
Con: Twisting, and pulling and pushing, and.
BD: What about when they got the hairdryer out. What was that?
Ol: >( Pudding ) <
BD: ((Laughs) Was it pulling are you sure?
