BS You mentioned earlier that it's quite central that you provide what the visitor wants. How do you find out what the visitor wants?

HW Try it out. You, you put out what you think they want on the floor and then find out if they enjoy it. I mean, it, it's hard to give some, you can't ask people what they want if they don't know what's available, if you don't present this menu of dishes, they can't choose from it and even if you, if the menu is written, you know, if it's written in science, which is like a foreign language, it's like going to a posh French restaurant, you don't know what you're asking for, so you have to put it out there, and see what their reaction to it is. And we get immediate feedback, from the helpers who are, you know, intimately involved with the public, in and their experience of the place, and it's a real skill, helping and knowing how. Their feedback to us, you know, certain didactic exhibits we've had, you know, well, "one can see why you've done it but that's no fun and nobody ever uses it." And, other ones you, you immediately know you've got a hit on your hands because they tell you.
