A critical examination of the effects of Blackboard and related technologies on the development of students on a creative writing programme.


This PhD research project explores the discursive practices of student creative writers, focusing on the role of computer mediated communication in the learning process.

In doing so, it draws on a number of fields of inquiry, including computer mediated communication, communication studies and educational discourse.
