IOCT Masters
Student Profile: Zihui Zhao
My background is in Software Engineering (BSc). I chose this Masters programme as it is a very interesting and challenging programme. What I have found most exciting about the Masters so far is collaborating with people from different backgrounds as well as learning new technical knowledge.
I have learned a new language called ActionScript, which I have never used before and developed a flash game using ActionScript 3. Basically the objective of this game is to prevent the enemies to catch you, and grab tablet on the ground and make your way to the well to score. It is a very interesting game and I spent lot of time on this work. I am going to continue develop the Flash game for my Major Project. In the second semester I am going to learn some new modules, such as Performance Technology and Applied Computational Intelligence. I am going to apply what I learned from these new modules to my Major Project.
